About
Colt Doster is a Ph.D. student in Human-Centered Computing at Clemson University and a graduate research assistant in the Human-AI Empowerment Lab, which Colt joined in 2026, advised by Dr. Carlos Toxtli. Colt contributes to the lab's U.S. Army VIPR-GS project on a resilient network security architecture for next-generation military ground vehicles, leading its human-centered computing tasks with collaborators at Clemson and George Mason University. Colt also leads a formative study of how people perceive technology in small-scale agricultural practices.
Before joining the lab, Colt conducted human-computer interaction research in Clemson's Design and Research of In-Vehicle Experiences (DRIVE) Lab and has served as a graduate teaching assistant for School of Computing courses.
